We're excited to share with you our latest roundup of software updates on our render farm. We have been working hard to improve and enhance our rendering capabilities, and in this post, we'll be highlighting some of the latest updates to our software, including Cinema 4D, V-Ray standalone plugin, 3ds Max plugin, SketchUp plugin, Maya plugin, Web Manager, renderBeamer, and Modo plugin. We will also be sharing some new video tutorials to help you get the most out of these updates. So, let's dive in and explore the latest improvements to our rendering software!
- Improved MD5 renamed assets upload.
- Improve camera detection.
- Improved checking for rstexbin assets. Now the plugin checks for the size of all assets and displays a warning only when the total size exceeds 250MB.
- Added check for FPS settings. Now plugin displays a warning prompt when using different values for FPS in project settings and render setup.
- Improved handling of Xparticles caches with the same parent directory. Now if a duplicate path for a cache is detected, the next cache will be placed into one more folder taken from the original path.
- Improved handling of image sequences with the same asset names.
- Improved multipass detection for multiple takes scene setup.
- Improved VDB asset support for R21 with Corona. Plugin copies VDB directly into the scene directory, also it handles VDB sequences in the same way as single VDB files.
- Improved plugin uninstaller.
In this video, we are focusing on our V-Ray standalone plugin.
It can be used for any exported .vrscene file - including exports for apps like Houdini, Revit and any other compatible with V-Ray renderer.

- Improved support for PhoenixFD caches.
- Added support for V-Ray GPU rendering. Currently, V-Ray GPU rendering is only available in “Render as is” mode.
- Improved support for camera perspective rendering.
- Improved prompt for Corona render time limit rendering with strips.
- Added warning prompt for LUT assets connected to V-Ray frame buffer.
- Improved checking for rstexbin assets. Now the plugin checks for the size of all assets and displays a warning only when the total size exceeds 250MB.
- The V-Ray version saved in .GFS will now use the plugin installer version, instead of the V-Ray core version.
