Project Introduction

Meet Digital Esthetics Studio

Digital Esthetics Studio is a 3D visualization studio founded with a background inengineering, product development, and large-scale commercial work. Their workspans high-volume product rendering, architectural visualization, and technicalprojects where realism and precision are essential.

"Innovation is also a major part of our studio culture. We are constantly exploring new technologies, automation systems, rendering methods, and workflow improvements."
— Digital Esthetics Studio

The Challenge

A structured workflow for different kinds of projects

One of the studio's biggest strengths is its ability to stay consistent across very different types of work. A furniture e-commerce pipeline, an architectural concept, and a defense-related visualization project all require different creative and technical decisions, but they still need the same level of reliability. At its peak, the studio has rendered around 200,000 images in a single month. At that volume, structured batching, scheduling, and predictable delivery become just as important as render quality.

This is where GarageFarm.NET became a core part of the pipeline, by distributing large workloads efficiently and giving the team the flexibility to prioritize urgent jobs without disrupting the regular production schedule.

"We maintain consistency through structure rather than uniformity."
— Digital Esthetics Studio

The Fit

From Render Provider to Production Partner

Before settling into its current rendering setup, Digital Esthetics tested other options, including Fox Renderfarm, RebusFarm, and AWS. The main challenges were reliability at scale, plugin compatibility, batch submission issues, long uploads, inconsistent results, and slow or limited support.

GarageFarm.NET stood out because it worked well with the studio’s 3ds Max and Corona pipeline, handled very large render volumes with stability, and offered the flexibility to scale resources based on demand. Just as importantly, the support team was willing to help refine the workflow rather than simply process jobs.

Over time, GarageFarm.NET became an extension of the studio's production workflow rather than simply a rendering service.

"GarageFarm has been more than just a render provider - it has become part of our production pipeline."
— Digital Esthetics Studio

The Solution

Batch rendering built around the client

Digital Esthetics' batch workflow is built to handle high-volume product rendering without losingconsistency - structured from intake to delivery around each client's assets, systems, and scale. To handle high volumes efficiently, rendering jobs are distributed through GarageFarm, allowing large workloads to be processed without bottlenecks.

1. Brief & Data Intake

Where models, SKUs, and deliveryrequirements enter the pipeline.

2. Asset Standardization

Cleaning models and materials to a consistentbaseline.

3. Scene Application

Applying lighting and camera systems byproduct category.

4. Variation Handling

Generating thousands of material and colorcombinations.

5. Render Distribution

Distributing workloads throughGarageFarm.NET at scale.

6. Delivery

Structured output aligned with each client'splatforms.

Support

Support that keeps production moving

For a studio operating at high volume, support can directly affect delivery. Digital Esthetics has had projects where scripts or submissions did not behave as expected, but GarageFarm's support team responded quickly and focused on solving the issue. Compared with experiences where other providers offered slow responses or shifted blame, that problem-solving attitude became an important part of the relationship.

The studio can often plan around a 12–24 hour turnaround, including downloads, even while handling terabytes of rendered data each week. That kind of predictability helps the team manage deadlines and make more confident business decisions. At scale, performance matters - but reliability, communication, and workflow integration can matter even more.

The Result

Digital Esthetics built a production system that scales with their clients - across furniture, architecture, and technical visualization. With rendering no longer the bottleneck, the studio takes on larger catalogs, faster turnarounds, and more demanding briefs with confidence. Together with GarageFarm, they now:
