frequently asked questions
- What do you mean by a beast? I’m not sure I’m understanding the theme.
Create a render of anything that alludes to the word BEAST- a werewolf, a mech – octopus, monster truck or your grandma on a bad day – be as creative with the theme as possible!
- How will the entries be judged?
Your render will be judged based on technical skill (modeling/sculpting/lighting/rendering), aesthetics (composition/visual storytelling) and clever use of the theme (BEASTS). Your work will be judged internally and we will be considering peer reviews as a small factor in deciding the winner.
- Do I have to be a great modeler to win?
Absolutely not. Though it definitely helps, there are other aspects that can make your work stand out: great texturing, framing, lighting and visual storytelling are all given the same weight as modelling in the judging process
